Preliminary Task Script

(Megan walks from the left side of the camera up to a brightly lit house in a dark street. Then jumps to a shot from the right of Megan walking up the steps to the door where she rings the doorbell. Next is a POV shot from the person behind the door. The door opens to reveal Meghan standing on the other side)
Mum: Hi, come in.
Megan: Hiya.
(Megan walks into the house. This shot is followed by a close up of the mum's hand near a door)
Mum: Just come through here.
(She pushes open the door)
Megan: Oh right, thanks.
(Both Megan and the mum walk through the door. This shot is from the other side of the door so it gets them as they walk through)
Mum: If you just want to sit down there.
(The mum points to the sofa)
Megan: Oh thanks.
(Megan sits down and the mum closes the living room door)
(The next shot is of the mum sat on the sofa in the living room. The back of Megan's head is in the screen but out of focus)
Mum: The baby's upstairs asleep, she should be fine if you just check on her every half an hour.
(The camera swaps sides and is now behind Lucy so Megan's face can be seen)
Megan: Yeah that's fine. If I have any problems then I'll just ring you.
(Camera goes back to a shot from behind Megan's head. A phone starts to ring)
Mum: Excuse me, that's the phone.
(She leans to grab the phone)
